About Us

Wild Heart Society helps youth and families navigate, affirm, and build stronger relationships for more authentic, connected, and creative lives.

We provide relationship-based counseling for youth and families of all ages and identities.

Wild Heart Society grew from the idea that therapy should be accessible and safe for everyone - regardless of where you come from or what you’re working through.

Inspired by Brene Brown’s powerful work, Wild Heart Society is a collective of licensed therapists that center their work around creativity and courage.

Wild Heart Society was founded by Mackenzie Dunham in 2019 and has since grown to include more than 15 licensed therapists, interns, and support staff. Wild Heart Society specializes in LGBTQQIP2SAA+, Family, and Children’s therapy. We can help you and your family find the therapist (and the type of therapy) that works best for you.

Wild Heart Society is particularly interested in clinicians who have a LGBTQ+ focus, or a background in child and adolescent mental health, couple’s therapy, and family therapy.

Wild Heart Society is not your typical group practice. Joining Wild Heart Society is joining a community of clinicians and individuals who are committed to providing the highest quality care.  At Wild Heart Society one of our primary modalities is community building.  We host events for kids and families to connect with each other, and anyone who joins our team would be expected to have a presence at our community events.
