Emily Losness, LSWAIC
Emily (she/her/hers) is a graduate of the Eastern Washington University School of Social Work. From a strengths-based perspective, Emily's primary goal when working with someone is to foster a therapeutic relationship- she believes that this is the most important step in establishing effective methods of empowering the client to meet their goals. Although she has eventual goals of working almost exclusively with queer and gender-nonconforming youth, her training allows her to be able to work with a variety of different populations, and would be more than happy to work with you, too.
When she's not on site, Emily enjoys spending time outside enjoying the beautiful Pacific Northwest with her partner or spending quality time with her cats, Ravioli and Cheese. She also loves to cook. Before making the move to social work, Emily worked in the makeup industry and plans to bring some of this creativity into her work at Wild Heart.
