Hi, I’m Nathan! (He/They),
My role as a clinician is to help support you on your journey as a guide who listens to you. I believe that people do the best when they can and therefore, we need to focus on what they are doing well, highlight their successes, and strengthen areas where we feel they can grow. Through a queer theoretical lens, I believe it is important to create an affirming space so we can explore the spectrum within relationships, identity, and gender within Western systems. Within this framework, I use a strength-based and narrative approach to explore how narratives create our values and patterns. Lastly, as a QBIPOC individual, I focused on the importance of healing through community, the importance of intersectionality, and helping others find moments of rest. My role as a clinician is to work together to create realistic goals, identify patterns in thinking/behavior, and create sustainable change.
My background is in education and community mental health. I graduated from Portland State University and received my Masters Of Social Work in 2024. During this time and post-graduation, I worked with Cascade Aids Project, supporting adults with HIV and writing Gender Affirming Support letters so folks could get the gender-affirming care they need. While working in Middle School and High School, I worked in classrooms and as a school counselor so I have familiarity with 504’s and IEP’s as well.
I like to enjoy my time dancing like going to Vogue dance classes and doing performance art or being outside and going running or hiking. When I’m not out and active I love to cook or play Dungeons and Dragons, video games, or build Lego. You will usually find me with tea or coffee and sometimes both!

I am best for people who: Are exploring gender and sexuality, to build coping skills, organize their thoughts, and folks who are trying to find who they are or where they want to go.
