Scerra Hassuk, LICSW (WA), LCSW (CA), CMHS
Scerra Hassuk is a social worker licensed in Washington and California. She has an MSW from University of Southern California, Los Angeles. Her clinical focus has been working with youth and teens; including LGBTQ youth, first generation and immigrant youth, issues rooted in racial and socioeconomic disparities, limited or lack of access to educational resources, mental health care, gang intervention, and teens in the juvenile justice system. Scerra is committed to social justice within mental health; and seeks to support individuals who are uplifting themselves from trauma, and breaking cycles of trauma.
As a social worker in Los Angeles, Scerra has run therapy groups in LGBTQ spaces, provided restorative justice in schools and diversion programs, as well as worked in art and theater projects in justice system spaces. In Washington state she worked in community mental health where she provided clinical therapy to youth and families for five years. In 2023 she joined Wild Heart Society as a therapist.
In her personal time Scerra loves being outdoors and is always exploring nature. Scerra divides her time between California and Washington.
